Youtube Video About Iwama

This is an older presentation I think, as I heard the Saito family was replaced as the guardians of the Aiki shrine by the Aikikai.

I think it was never the Saito family, it was just Morihiro Saito Sensei, who was the "guardian".

The whole family served O-Sensei and his family; you can draw your own conclusions as to the politics involved.

Dear Steven,

It was mainly Morihiro Saito Sensei and his wife who served Osensei and his wife in Iwama.

In 1969, when Osensei passed away, Saito Sensei's eldest daughter would have been in second grade high school, while his eldest son still hadn't finished elementary school.

Regards

Carl
