This is the first time Yasuo Kobayashi 8th Dan Aikikai has taught in the UK. This course set over several days, promises to be something quite special and we expect students from all over the world to attend. Shihan Kobayashi started his Aikido career in 1954 whilst at Meiji University.
He entered Hombu dojo in 1955 as an uchi deschi. As an uchideshi of hombu dojo,
Kobayashi sensei was instructed by his seniors and senseis: the founder of aikido, Morihei Ueshiba sensei,
the second doshu, Kisshomaru Ueshiba sensei.
