Bruce Bookman Weekend Aikido Intensive in Columbia MD, Feb 22-24

Kaicho Bruce Bookman is regarded as one of the top Aikido instructors in the country. Currently he teaches fulltime at the Tenzankai main dojo in Seattle and gives seminars around the country. Aikido of Maryland, Tenzankai is the first Tenzankai satellite dojo under Kaicho Bookman. The dojo's Chief Instructor is Jesse Lee, 2nd Degree Black Belt. Kaicho Bookman apprenticed in Japan and studied with direct students of the Aikido founder, Morihei Ueshiba. He began Aikido in 1970 and became the youngest Aikido Black Belt in America at the age of 15. Kaicho Bookman was last promoted to 6th Degree Black Belt before starting the Tenzan Aikido organization in 2000.
