Brisbane Aikikai (Australia) is pleased to announce that it is now officially affiliated with Aikido Shinryukan, based in New Zealand. Brisbane Aikikai has been established for 20 years and has been at its current dojo location since 1996. Nobuo Takase Shihan is the Chief Instructor of Aikido Shinryukan and Technical Director of New Zealand Aikikai. This affiliation means that we are officially linked to Hombu Dojo in Japan and it allows our students to participate in kyu and dan gradings that are internationally recognised.
