Ah don't even mention both of them in the same line - their dojos are awoved rivals! Master De Gucci from Napoli is a staunch believer of the purest Ki-Aikido, as his video amply demonstrates IMHO, whereas his step-brother, the Master De Gucci in Milano, goes Shodokan.
You have seen Master De Gucci's (in Napoli) style.
See yourself his step-brother Master De Gucci (he is the guy on the left: originally he was Italian, but true Aikido deeply changes persons!) based in Milan and the type of Aikido of his dojo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-b50SL6U01o
That's it their iriminage training routine, and it's gonna work if one understands the true meaning of Aikido!
But they look somewhat different in their approach, I think. No wonder there is constant infighting between their Federations to secure more pupils!

Re: Anyone for an argument?
I think we've answered some serious questions in this thread. We've addressed O Sensei's spiritual influences, brought to light some lesser known ashi sabaki, how to deal with a variety of weapons, touched a little on verbal Aikido, and even determined something about whether the pen is mightier than the sword. I'm afraid this all begs one very serious question though:

That's not an argument, it's just a contradiction.

That's not an aikido licence. That's a dog licence with dog crossed out and aikido written in crayon.

Sorry but it sounded a bit fishy to me as the monty pythons international day was over.
However, after being put on the rack by the spanish inquisition I've been made to carry it on for the next month for anyone who feels silly.
So to finish my earlier story of O'Senseis visit to manchuria he also discovered the secret art of projection throwing whilst watching a mongoose fight a python called Monty.
They nicknamed O'Senseis new projection art as Ueshiba's Flying Circus but de-gucci wasn't amused and banned the term.
True Aikido comes from the universal spirit of python.
Regards.G.
