Mary Heiny in Newark, NJ

Mary Heiny Sensei, rokudan, will teach on Thursday, October 20 at the New Jersey Insitute of Technology, on the third floor of the Fleisher Gymnasium, from 7-9 pm. The class is sponsored by the NJIT Aikido Club, with the generous cooperation of Bond Street Dojo, where Heiny Sensei will be teaching October 21-23.

NJIT is easily accessible by public transportation: take the PATH, NJ Transit, or AMTRAK to Penn Station, Newark; from there, hop on the Newark Subway and get off at the Warren Street stop.

As you come out of the subway at the Warren Street stop, walk straight ahead 50 yards along Lock Street, with the soccer field on your right. The entrance to the gymnasium is at the head of the sidewalk which cuts across campus from Lock Street.

A donation of $20 is requested; because of limited space, we ask that prospective participants pre-register via e-mail: aikido@njit.edu

A lmited number of spaces are left, we can not guarantee at-the-door registration, so please let us know beforehand.

For guests traveling via automobile, parking in the main NJIT Parking Deck is available, but pre-registration 48 hours in advance is necessary to insure availability.

Re: Mary Heiny in Newark, NJ

Highly recommended.

MH is one of my favorite teachers. Excellent technician and clearly communicates how to do WAZA.

I'd be there if I could.

Let me take this opportunity to thank Don to shamelessly bump the thread up as well.

Current registration is at 20 and will be capped at 30.

Re: Mary Heiny in Newark, NJ

I hope you get my email reservation in time.( for 3) Such rare event to get a big name west coast instructor here in little old NJ. Certainly a sin to take a pass on this one, considering I cant make her Bond Street appearance.

Dont make me, make you, grab my wrist.
