Sensei, are you instructor at the dojo in which Sean O'Coiligh and Andy Page train? They used to train at the dojo in which I train and teach. Your name sounds familiar, as does your dojo's name.

Was your dojo under Frank Hreha? If so, I think so. I'm not at the dojo your guys moved to now as I am, alas, 250 miles SE of them in Lauderdale, and they are in St. Pete. But John, whose dojo it is, said he got a couple of fellows in from Ohio a while back.

Yeah, that's our dojo.
Okay, back on topic:
What's a hinky pinky that describes the topic of a great seminar I attended this past weekend?
The aiki tyke-y!
I attended the Teaching Aikido to Children seminar hosted by Aviv Goldsmith Sensei in Fredericksburg, VA. It was awesome, and I'll be telling you about it in more detail when I have finished writing my full review later this week! But the short review is: If you missed it, and teach children's aikido classes, plan to go to the next one. You WILL NOT be sorry.
Re: Hin Ki Pin Ki
Ok, this is not aikido related at all, but it IS Hinky Pinky related:
My fifth grade students just won the Scholastic Books Kids Are Authors contest. Check out the link at:

Toooooo Cool!
