Aikido Weapons Techniques Book Signing

Book Signing at Westminster (Orange County, Southern California) Aikikai Sunday 12/3/06 10 AM -- 1 PM

Aikido Weapons Techniques was just released by Tuttle Publishing. This is the third in a series (Aikido Basics and Advanced Aikido) by 6th Dan Sensei Dang Thong Phong and his student 3rd Dan Lynn Seiser.

To celebrate the book release, the Westminster Aikikai, Hombu Dojo for the International Tenshinkai Aikido Federation founded by Phong Sensei, will hold a book signing Sunday 12/3/2006 from 10 AM -- 1 PM. The Dojo is located at 8562 Westminster Avenue, Westminster, CA 92683. Contact 714-894-1003 or visit Tenshinkai.com for updates and further information.

Tenshinkai is the name given directly to Phong Sensei by Aikido founder O'Sensei Morihei Ueshiba for his uniquely powerful and flowing style of Aikido. Phong Sensei holds a 6th Dan in Aikikai Aikido, a 6th Dan in Tae Kwon Do, a 5th Dan in Judo, and 8th Dan in Vietnamese Shaolin Kung Fu, and was inducted in the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame twice (once for his Aikido and once for his life long dedication to the martial arts). Phong Sensei is a regular demonstrator and instructor at the Aiki Expo and has appeared in many magazines include Aikido Today, Aikido Journal, and Black Belt Magazine.

As always, an open invitation is extended to everyone regardless of rank, experience, style, or affiliation.

Re: Aikido Weapons Techniques Book Signing

Jes' Lynn - love to be there but its a bit of a flight for me. Maybe yourself and Sensei Dang Thong Phong could send me a digital signature and I'll insert it into the book

Good luck with it, I hope you get lots of people.
