January 2005 AikiWeb Columns

I'm happy to present another four great columns from our columnists, Lynn Seiser, Paul Schweer, Ross Robertson, and "The Mirror." Ranging from the subject of beginners mind and the objectives of training to atemi and appropriate force, these columns will undoubtedly make you reflect upon our art of aikido. George Ledyard is on sabbatical this month but will return next month. The columns are available at http://www.aikiweb.com/columns/. Enjoy!

Re: January 2005 AikiWeb Columns

To the great columnists - thank you all for your work! I am certain that you are all very busy, with your time and energy being pulled into a great many directions. I wanted to thank you for taking the time to do what you do. It's a testament to your passion for Aikido. More importantly, showing us this balance your being able to manage and balance your lives with this passion is an example of using principles of Aikido in everyday life.We learn no only from your words themselves, but from your taking the time to share them with us.
And, the example of "no looking at a target" has done wonders for my chip shot in golf.

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have added George's article entitled "Women and Everyone Else in Aikido" to the January columns:
