Some opinions please
I contacted Elder Sensai in Orlando, he has Aikido classes, and teaches Toyama Ryu Batto Do, from what I have read, the styles are very similar to Iaido, almost interchangable some have said. If he has an opening in August I plan to enroll. Feedback on Elder Sensai, or some heads up's would be appreciated though.

Re: Some opinions please
Bob Elder sensei is well know, respected and very active in the US sword arts community (although I've never met him personally). I'm jealous of you for getting the opportunity to train there.

If one makes a distinction between the dojo and the battlefield, or being in your bedroom or in public, then when the time comes there will be no opportunity to make amends. (Hagakure)

Re: Some opinions please
Thanks Tim, I love the term Redneck Samurai, I was referred to Elder Sensai from some cool cats at Kendo World Forums, as another person was also interested in studying with him, I hope it is ok with you that I carried the link over to the forums there.

He runs his iaido classes out of a multipurposed dojo. Geez, I think they have that and aikido (Dennis Hooker Sensei), karate, and judo.
He also runs the best MA store that I've seen in Florida.
