gozo shioda

Hi. I recently was explained the lineage of my personal Aikido training, and learned that I would like to know more about Gozo Shioda. Any accessible sites that may have interviews or biographies of him that you may know of? It'd be appreciated...otherwise I'll continue looking. Thanks.

yeah go to www.Yoshinkan.com and youll find some info pluse lots of Yoshinkan links with more info. www.Aikidojournal.com has a artical on him that you dont need to subscibe for. also Aikido FAQ has some info. your best bet would be to go to a search engine like www.webcrawler.com and look under Yoshinkan or yoshinkan aikido or Gozo Shioda. and Enlish translation on his biography is underway ( to be a book) just needs a publisher. happy hunting

there is no try there is do or do not

HI Matt,

You can find some good info on Soke Gozo Shioda and the IYAF here:

http://yoshinkan-aikido.org/

Good luck on the search,

Scott
