whoa! aiki on the back of the turtle? i thought it was a bunch of elephants. wonder if it tastes like chicken at all. i mean how would you like it if you were minding your own business, whatever turtle business was, and someone started to write stuffs on your back. of course, you can't really see your back at all being a turtle, so you asked your buddy what on your back.

you: "dude, what's the hell that guy wrote on my back?"
buddy: hold on! lets see! wriggly lines and more swigging lines. oh hey! there is a smiley face!
you: WTF!!! i am going to bite that bastard fingers off next time!
buddy: there is a playboy symbol here too! pretty good looking turtle at that!
you: really??!! cool! maybe i won't bite his fingers off!

*sorry, couldn't help myself*

Does this make the turtle's shell a potential "kama-aina"?

Yup, great article like all of them. I'm making an archive for myself of various posts here on the aikiweb combined with all of Dr. Goldsbury's fantastic columns but also Chris' wonderful blog posts. It reminds me of wiping the fog off the windshield on a cold morning sometimes. Things that were there, kinda visible, but hard to make out, suddenly become visible and crisper. Then you gaze off in the distance a bit further and wonder "what's that over there?".

It's all good.

And that's exactly what I'm trying for! Thanks, it's very nice to hear.

FWIW, that's how I've always felt about your posts, too.
