Dan Harden returns to England Oct. 6-7th

Hi Guys
This is a schedule change to try and fit in an England visit this year. It might be in Bristol or in London. I will know in a few days and I will post location and times. People are already signed up and it is half full in just 40 minutes on the phone.
I will allow a limited number of new people as this is going to be a continuation of training with regular folks who are training this material.
Contact me at: dojoseminars@gmail.com
Cost: Equal to $180.00 in U.S. dollars
Payments to: PayPal homeoffice@charter.net

Those dates conflict with a previously scheduled seminar in NY (Howard's) has the NY one been cancelled?

Hey Greg

Think this was cancelled because Dan had 2 seminars close together on your side of the pond.

Cheers

Sorry Greg, Dan figured that since we had two so close together it wasn't a big deal.

Take care,

Howie

Understood, and not a problem - as I mentioned above, just trying to keep Dan's schedule up to date - hope to see you at Marc's next weekend.

So, it looks like they decided on a Bristol location. I will know the exact location in a few days.

For anyone who is coming from outside of Bristol.

If you're interested in sharing the costs of travel/accomodation/etc I don't mind co-ordinating if you drop me a PM or email (mrlizard123 at gmail.com) letting me know where you're coming from and what days/times you're planning on travelling and I'll try to put you in contact with anyone in a similar boat (or other mode of transport).

I can possibly help with advice on accomodation locations if need be.

The venue is likely to be in the BS7 area; details are being confirmed in the next few days.

Cheers
Rich

Re: Dan Harden returns to England Oct. 6-7th

These are the results from my initial searching of the area, hopefully it'll be of some use.

I've found a number of guest houses or hotels ranging from within 0.5mile to around 2 miles or so from the intended venue.
http://www.norfolkguesthouse.co.uk/
http://www.laterooms.com/en/hotel-re...l-bristol.aspx
http://visitbristol.co.uk/accommodat...ca-house-p4781
http://www.amberleyguesthousebristol.com/index.html
http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/B...bristol-filton
http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/B...ntre-haymarket

There are also some serviced apartments that would be reasonably priced when shared between more than one person and are a mile or two away, examples:
http://www.portlandapartments.co.uk/bristol/
http://www.alderman-apartments.co.uk...partments.html

Or super cheap there are some backpacker hostels in the centre, though some are a little further away (3 miles or so) the savings would pay for taxis:
http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldet.../Bristol/40772
http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldet.../Bristol/36731
http://www.bristolbackpackers.co.uk/index.htm

Cheers
Rich

Small disclaimer: I've not stayed in any of these places but wouldn't have any hesitation in doing so if I were travelling to Bristol from out of town.

The venue will be:

Horfield United Reformed Church
139 Muller Road
Horfield
Bristol
BS7 9RE

Entrance is to the left hand side (as viewed from the front), so go slightly along Downend road and you'll find it.

I imagine the times will be 10:00-18:00 on the Sat/Sun confirmation soon.

Possibly some stuff on Friday afternoon/evening, depending on Dan's travel plans/etc.

Cheers
Rich

Re: Dan Harden returns to England Oct. 6-7th

Can people please let me know if they are interested in a meal on the Saturday. I am not sure what we'll have or where but if I can get some idea of how many people are interested it will make finding somewhere easier, especially if there are a large number of us.

Drop me a PM on here or email me at mrlizard123@gmail.com if you can please, obviously the sooner the better.

Cheers
Rich

I just want to thank Rich and Darren and everyone for hosting an awesome seminar and making me and everyone else feel exceedingly welcome. That was seriously too much fun. You have a great bunch of people down there. I made a lot of new friends and hope to see how you guys progress with this material in the future!

Thanks again.

Hey Lee, was great meeting you! Always good to catch up with people on here.

I echo your sentiments, what a phenomenal weekend, so much information and everything makes so much sense to me, with loads of questions being answered in my mind.
Just need to keep up with the practice and hope the bujutsu body comes with it!

Hope to see everyone soon

Chris

Hope......the bujutsu body comes?
Do you remember what the newbies could NOT do....while the others could and felt different?
That's why I do those tests...so growth and failure is transparent.

I think a bunch of you guys are making progress.
