Self Control

Following Juns question on centre, and other threads on real situations:

Do you think you need self control in a fighting situation (post fight initiation) or do you need to maximise your aggressive force, or is there not really an ability to choose either?

IMHO, the choice is made earlier in training. The best aggressive force is through strategic self-control (not restraint). Just like true gun control is being able to hit the target, true self control is being able to get yourslef to do what you tell it do. Often, through effective training, that control get automatic, at which point you have not necessarily lost control, but trust your training.

Until again,

Lynn

YEAH!

What he said.

It is not practice that makes perfect, it is correct practice that makes perfect.
