pay money for aikido secrets on the net

http://www.bestmasites.com/ser/a.php?pa=Aikido
What the heck?

Would it be a good idea to form some safe company where several of us all chip in to buy into these things and post the non-sense in a central place? Or just assume that all such things are so obviously BS that anyone who falls for it deserves to be ripped off?

Rob

Heh, judging by the tone of the webpage, some of our usual suspects might already be involved!

"start crying after 5 seconds" .... damn, what are they thinking???? That's like after, what, 18 stabs into your body!
I think that's a dead giveaway that they too, don't actually want you to know the R33I secrets

What a load of rubbish! Secret is: hard work, dedication, consistency and dedication. Along with an open mind.
Pete
Yes - I do mean dedication * 2.

I don't think "deserves" is the right word. This is the sort of scam that will work on someone with a certain sort of credulousness: they're predisposed to believe in certain things. In this particular case, they want to believe that these "aikido secrets" exist, and that they're like the combination to a safe: simply give the information to anyone, and they've got access to the safe's contents. Someone with this mindset doesn't "deserve" to be victimized, any more than anyone else does, and it's sad that they will be...but whether they're being preyed upon by con artists or not, disappointment is going to be their lot in life as an inevitable consequence of the way they think. Debunking myths is probably never a bad thing, but I wouldn't do it in the belief that doing so will cure people of believing what they want to believe.

Well at least you know your email address would be safe.
It says so right on the website, so no worries, eh!

This is called 'marketing'. Marketing is also a way of life.
