uchi-deshi.blogspot.com

Hi Everybody.

I don't do Akido, but for the last year or so I've been enjoying an aikido weblog. When I tried to go there today, I was informed that only invited guests were allowed in, and that I should request an invitation from the guy in charge. Since I don't know the man personally, I have no way of getting in. So I was wondering if any of you frequent the place and if you could help me get an invitation. I think I will start having withdrawals if I can't keep up with them.

The weblog's addy is uchi-deshi.blogspot dot com the author's name is Richard and he is located somewhere in southern California. That's all I know. If anyone here can help, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks, 2

I am not clear, is there no way to google or otherwise find him, so you can politely contact him and let him know why you want in ???

If there is a way, I don't know it. That's why I wanted to try here to see if someone else knew how, or maybe find out why he closed the door in the first place. Maybe he just doesn't know how much we'll miss him...

Re: uchi-deshi.blogspot.com

Molly -

Looking at one of google's cached pages (google uchi-deshi blogspot, and hit the "cached" link for the second entry) shows that the comments section was getting spammed by some wedding planner bot. He may have taken it private to avoid that.

On the cached page, the link to his profile still works:

http://www.blogger.com/profile/10748618995081328351

and there appears to be a good email link on the upper left of that... looks like it's uchideshi@gmail.com .

cheers,
John

WOW! Thanks, John. That's exactly the kind of help I was hoping for. I'll let you all know if I can get a hold of him.

Thanks again, M

Re: uchi-deshi.blogspot.com

Actually, he posted comments to several related blogs about how to contact him about private access (including the one I also write to). I'm looking forward to read about the details of why he went private if he still posts new articles in the future...
