BCAF summer camp June 2005, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Dear Friends;
I am ever so pleased that Kawahara Shihan had confirmed that Doshu had accepted his invitation to teach at the BCAF summer camp this June. This special event is a celebration of Kawahara Shihan's 30th anniversay of his
teaching and living in Canada. The BCAF executive will be posting the information on our website very soon and we will be mailing out notices as soon as possible. Please post the good news on your websites as well.

I will give you the tentatvie class schedule. Only the schedule is tentative as the June summer camp dates have been confirmed by Hilary Dawson, Head Instructor, U. of Vic and Host Sensei for the BCAF summer camp.

We are just fine tuning the fee structure as there is a rumour that there will be a significant "appreciation" discount for the out of province/country aikidoist.

Class Schedule:

Sun - full day, June 19, 2005
Mon - full day, June 20,
Tues - half day, June 21
Wed - testing (counts as half day), June 22
Thur - full day (possibly no weapons class), June 23
Fri - Doshu (full day), June 24
Sat - Doshu (full day) no evening class, June 25
Sun-Wrap up class, June 26

We hope that all of you will be able to come and join us for this extraordinary special event. Please tell all your friends as we would like to let Doshu know that there are a lot of enthusiastic aikidoists.

Pat Olson, President, BCAF
