This article entitled "Aikido helps students in Cecil Alternative Program master self-discipline" highlights the Cecil Alternative Program in Elkton, MD which uses aikido as part of their program for at-risk students with Zenko Okimura sensei (7th dan) as their teacher.

From the article: "We want our students to take the principles of Aikido off the mat and into the classroom and into their daily lives at school or at home," said Guertin, who has studied Aikido since he was a teenager and is close to attaining a black belt.
