Errr, I am not sure who was who as it was a tag team match. I just saw the name at the end. Are you straight up?

Eric is jerking your chain...
This clip shows our Jun.
http://www.aikiweb.net/videos/ukemi/softbreakfall1.mpg
If I remember correctly, Jun is around 5'8" and 150 pounds. But that was years ago.
Best regards,

Whoa! That looks like the "roly poly" ukemi technique! Is that it? I've never seen done smoothly like that. My friend Pat who is constantly talking about "roly poly" Ukemi, makes it look goofy. Every time I try it, it looks worse and it feels like my shoulder is going to rip out of socket.

Yeah, that would be our Jun. Did he have a bunch of tattoos all over his body? His most pronounced is one that say's "I love Big Mama's" on his right arm. I hear he sometimes dyes his hair purple and his wraslin' weight is around 300 pounds.

I believe the most telling indicator on if this is "our" Jun is if he's wearing his underware.
BTW - http://www.geocities.com/masanorihor...masa070201.htm has many pictures of Jun's wresting persona.

So, today, he could be 300 pounds with a big tattoo and beer belly. Afterall, he left the sane confines of the Golden State which makes no sense whatsoever unless you believe in a balanced budget. I bet he's even joined the Hell's Angels or something similar.

Yep. I bet he made the film clips back when he was in CA and put them out recently to throw everyone off.

I find it interesting that he has neither confirmed nor denied his wrestling status as of yet.
hmm...
I love those breakfall videos btw.
Would it help to cut back on the cheese doodles if I ever wanted to attempt that ukemi?
I hope not. Cheese doodles are my life.

I trained with Jun in Co. recently, and he's no 300 pounder! But, hmmm, you never know! he could STILL be a professional wrestler...

I been thinking about this and I'm pretty sure he's a covert operative, and master of disguise, reporting directly to Dick Cheney. Consider the following:
1. He was in California. We had a recall of a Democratic governor.
2. He's been to Florida. We know what happened there.
3. He's been to Europe. No doubt working on the disolution of the EU and the downfall of the UN.
4. He's been to Washington. No doubt reporting directly to Dick Cheney and PNAC.
5. His aikido travels provide the perfect cover for covert operations around the world.
6. Neil Mick posts on these forums. Jun has obviously been assigned to analyze him along with providing regular reports to Karl Rove on his activities.
Jeez, it's so obvious.

You may be onto something as Jun flies around like a ____ and lands as lightly as a _______. Is he still a bird dog for Dick Cheney or has he flown that coop?

With as smoothly as those video clips are, I doubt highly that Jun is a CIA operative. I'm thinking more NRO myself.
I'll also note that those flying knees kicks and top rope arobats, looks awfully Aikidoish when you look at the grace and beauty while in flight.
...cheers...

Hi everyone,
I received the following "award" at the 2002 Aikido-L Seminar. I think the award pretty much sums things up as far as my being a professional wrestler in Japan goes:
http://home.earthlink.net/~jimbaker6/jun/jun.htm
I may have to get myself an action figure...
As far as the whole covert operations thing goes, all I can say is, "I can neither confirm nor deny..."
