Monika - Donor Appeal

I am not one of your regular contributors to AikiWeb, but I appeal to all of you for your assistance in what has become an important matter to me.

We normally retire to the local pub - The Old Tramway - after our Aikido practice, and it is here that we have come across the plight of a 16-year old girl who has Leukaemia and who now desparately needs a bone marrow transplant. The current database of 9-million donors has failed to provide a match for Monika, and now, with the help of Jun, and the worldwide coverage of AikiWeb, I hope that one of you out there may be the one to provide the help she needs.

Such is her spirit and desire for life, that we decided that as a club that revolves around the force of life that we had to do something for her - a tenuous link none the less. I trust you understand. I've endeavoured to attach a poster giving you the details, so I hope it's there for you to read.

Thanks for your time in reading this - please pass it on, there must be someone out there.

Regards,
Ric Costigan
