Re: Bruce lee and the nunchucks.

This is good, cos it is something fantastic, that has actually been filmed?

Does this make Ueshiba's feats, seem more believable, or unbelievable???

Re: Bruce lee and the nunchucks.

Actually, the "lost footage" is actually part of a viral marketing campaign for the Nokia N96 "Bruce Lee" edition mobile phone that was on sale in China.. The video was created using a Bruce Lee look-a-like and Computer Graphics (like the ping-pong scenes in "Forrest Gump").
Details can be found here: http://www.zerzle.com/zarticle.php?m...nd=bruce%20lee

Re: Bruce lee and the nunchucks.

Incredible. He doesn't turn round and show his face. But, there is a video of him lighting a match with one.

To keep aiming a ball, with a rounded surface like a bat, time after time, would be incredible.

But, there is video of him moving very fast and I have seen a 64 year old who could move with a flicker.

Re: Bruce lee and the nunchucks.

It says on wiki, that he was filmed doing some fast things. Maybe not time after time.

Actually, I think it's bad to release fakes like this, though every skilled fighter I have known has used a little bit of shownmanship and intimidation, to some small or very large extent.

Do Aikidoists just do it by invoking Ueshiba?

Also, the lighting matches one was a fake, too. It doesn't even look like him and it's modern film.

There's a a sucker born very minute!
