I wanted to thank you for this article. I recently went through a very hard break up with my girlfriend, while at the same time began to take on much more responsibility at work. The article really helped me to put things in perspective, to take a deep breath, and trust in my own ability to handle these changes with aiki.

Lynn - you are a fantastic writer on aikido and that article is a gem. It is very much in the same vein of what our cheif instructor would say. I must admit though, applying this open attitude to life is much more difficult for me than in the dojo - I suppose maybe I need more prior training!

I do have a major complaint about your writing - its too difficult to get hold of! I've been trying to get hold of your books through amazon and tesco for ages to no avail! Where can I buy them from!

I also think, maybe in a couple of years, some of the better stuff from aikiweb (particularly from yourself and George Ledyard) should be compiled, edited and published in paper format.

Thanks for the kinds words. I always hope that my sharing of ideas are of some small help both on and off the mat.

No ideas about the difficulties in getting our Aikido books. All three are published by Tuttle, so you might try them directly. I see them on all the sale, and resale, sites.

Talk to Jun about a collected volume of AikWeb articles. I am sure there is a market for it.

Again, thanks for the kind words. Encouragement is appreciated.
