Help with O'Sensei reference

I cannot locate a reference to something attributed to O'Sensei, and was hoping someone else had read it and could identify it for me.

In an aikido book, I came across where someone asked O'Sensei if he (being Christian) should change and become Buddhist. O'sensei's answer was that aikido isn't a religion, but should be used to make you a better person, regardless of your religion. If you are Buddhist, aikido will make you a better Buddhist. I you are Christian, aikido will make you a better Christian.

Does anyone know what book this came from? Or who was asking the question?

Thanks in advance!!

Re: Help with O'Sensei reference

Been a pleasure.

BTW, notice O Sensei is basically rephrasing Oomoto-kyo doctrine.
