hello, just passed my 2nd kyu test today

Hello everyone,

I just passed my second kyu test today! It went really well and my pace was pretty good. ie. not super fast like some of my other tests. I have been training for almost two years now at City Aikido in San Francisco. I am really glad that I passed my test, but still feel like I am just scratching the surface of the art. I can see that this road is one that goes as far as you want it to.

Congratulations! And, yes, you are just scratching the surface, but give it 20 or 30 years and you'll start to get the hang of it! (Heck, It'll take me 40 to 50 years at the rate I'm going )

congratulations. I'll look for the guy in the brand-new brown belt next time I drop in to train.

Congratulations! You have just scratched the surface but even at that, you are WAAAAAY ahead of me. Small steps, but each is important and a process to be enjoyed. Good luck on your journey, and say hello to the whole Bay Area for me - I'd like to get back up there someday.
Have a nice holiday season!
