Gracie Vs Hughes you tell me

I think that it will be either the best fight we have ever seen or the most dissapointing fight that we have ever seen. Can Matt Hughes stand up to the powerfull syle of gracie Jujitsu. Or perhaps graice might not be able to addapt to the new rules of the UFC. I think that if Gracie sticks to the type of fight he used to fight then he will kick some ass. But Matt HUghes is an amazing champ and wont lay down for anything. It will be interesting no doubt.

Re: Gracie Vs Hughes you tell me

I know the UFC doesn't want you to know this, but Royce hasn't stopped fighting. He has fought a lot in pride and a lot in other venues. Its not like he stopped after the UFC. And from watching these fights I can tell you that Royce hasn't evolved with the sport. I really think its going to be a good fight, but Royce is going to loose, either by decision or knock out (I'm favoring decision). Matt is really a good well rounded fighter who has evolved with the sport and has the skills both standing and on the ground. Royce's standup skills leave a lot to be desired.

Re: Gracie Vs Hughes you tell me

Another point is gracie has been fight ing once a year in japan. And what people dont realize is the fact that. gracie can perform standup and has been teaching ever since he has left the organization. I dont want matt to win, but if anyone should be able to take it away from gracie i am glad its matt.

He wasn't hitting him in the spine or back of the head.
