Martial artists in Rochester, NY

You are invited to join us in the first annual Greater Rochester Martial Arts Open & Demonstration!

Martial artists and golfers from the greater Rochester area are invited to join us in creating a very special event. The Rochester New York Aikido Club in conjunction with the New York Aikido Center invites you to join us in a day of golf and martial arts exhibition to be held at:

Eaglevale Golf Club on
Sunday August 24th 2003
4344 Nine Mile Point Road (Route 250)
Fairport, NY 14450
585-377-5200
Demonstration(s) begin at 11:00am

All martial arts schools in the greater Rochester area (regardless of style and or affiliation) are welcome to promote their school and their art(s) at the demonstration prior to the golf portion of this event. We particularly encourage schools that teach styles other than aikido to be part of this annual demonstration. We are seeking 5 or more schools who would welcome 10 to 15 minutes to introduce their school, teacher and students and demonstrate their art to a group of between 100 and 150 spectators.

For those interested in playing golf the cost is $80 per person (pre-registration) and $100 the day of the event.

The New York Aikido Center is 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit organization with the goal of offering inner city youths free instruction in aikido, shodo, macrobiotics and other traditional Japanese cultural art forms. The Rochester New York Aikido Club is affiliated with Shaun Ravens Sensei and the New York Aikido Center. For more information please visit www.nyaikidocenter.com

If you would like your school to participate in the demonstration prior to golf please immediately contact:
