Best.

I would hate to live inside your complicated brain Mike. You just answered your own question to me. I don't think you're as interested in learning something about Ki (as you claim) as you are in being 'right' about your interpretation of everything.
Yes, it is that 'connective thing', which is different from simple materialistic physics principles. Thus, a human's arm and a simple plywood lever are very different, in terms of the level of consciousness a human being has. The spark of life/consciousness changes everything. If you want to see and example of how connection and oneness with the universe can lead and alter the dynamics of 'would be attackers', watch the dog whisperer, Cesar Milan. His Ki work is incredible.
I think I'm done posting on this one Mike. You're more full of yourself than Erik Meade, and more arrogant to boot. Anyone who calls themselves 'humble' isn't.
I only pray that one day you can share your mastery of Aikido and deep knowledge of Ki with all those pathetic creatures like Shaner Sensei, tsubaki sensei, and the rest of the aikido world's teachers. Obviously only a great man like you can set them straight.

At least I notice Mike isn't blatently attacking people. How "aiki" (bleah) of you all...
Not so much the best this time,
Ron (and thanks to the others who don't bother with the nonsense)

Define attack, and explain how your post (bleah?) ISN'T an attack on me?
Instead of standing on the sidelines making sarcastic comments, why not enter and discuss? Am I not worthy? Instruct me, if you know better.
also, explain why attacking poorly supported argumentation and attitdues is always a bad thing.

Re: Wayne and Mike's Thread
Attacking the arguements is fair game...have at it. Attacking the person...not so much.

I see no way possible to view this as attacking the arguement, as opposed to the person. If you can connect the dots for me, it would be appreciated.
Best,
Ron (sorry...I just get so fed up sometimes)

Wayne, you can't seem to stop. Tell your local yokel Fryling that I want to talk to him about something I don't like.
People like Justin Smith are what gives Taiji a bad name. No, Smith doesn't do and hasn't done Aikido... he's here simply here out of a sick fascination to show people what whackos are in the Taiji net. Anytime there's a pseudo, sort of "safe" martial art with talk of New Age quasi-religions, the whackos flock there. Ruins the reputation of the art. The Cheng Man Ching groups are pretty much laughed at because of the number of whackos that are therein.
Ki Aikido gets a bad rep from people like you. Tohei didn't envision the number of wannabe's that would wind up in his faction and would be dismayed, I'm sure. You like all the psalmistry and the "good attitude" stuff... but look at the crap you post. What a letdown to the Ki Society.
Tell Fryling I'll probably be in NYC in the next 3 months on business.
Regards,
Mike Sigman

Re: Wayne and Mike's Thread
I think that the people who are long on theory, don't spar, think they have it all worked out with a grand theory of everything, and dismiss those with different opinions tend to give any martial art a bad name.
Walter believes that gravity and kicking the floor producing a body moving forward is an amazing reveleation in the martial arts (ie. ground strength vector). Why he does I have no idea, as it seems to be a trivial observation of human movement.
He has been offered several times to test his theories in actual sparring (he does claim to be teaching something martial afterall), not just static exercises/tricks which don't really show much. There are lots of MMA-types that would probably oblige him in a friendly manner.

Let's drop the use of the word "friendly", Justin, since everyone here has seen the tone of your posts and you're not "friendly". What is this vague "lots of MMA types" stuff? Are you offering to meet for a fight? No sweat... I notice you wouldn't tell me where you live, but I think a friend of mine in Alexandria has pretty much got you locked in. You wanted attention.

Nah, let's keep it friendly. Will you ever spar in an MMA gym using your ki skills, or just do static posturing?
