Chuck Clark Sensei Seminar

I just attended one day (family considerations kept me from hitting the whole weekend)of a two day seminar with Chuck Clark Sensei. I have to say that I think that amongst the top Aikido folks I have trained with, Clark stands out in his ability to teach what he can do to folks with far less experience. After all of the discussions of whether many of the most sophisticated practitioners have been able to pass on that knowledge, it is inspiring to see a teacher who is at the top of his game who has worked out an extremely well thought out teaching methodology. I watched as he was able to get one of my kyu ranked students to pull off some movements that I would have said were over her head. His ability to break down what is happening in a technique, that made it both comprehensible to a beginning student and eye opening for an advanced practitioner is absolutely wonderful. If anyone gets a chance to attend one of Clark Sensei's seminars, do whatever it it takes to get there. This is as good as it gets!

Thanks for the kind words George. It was a pleasure to see you again. I had a good time and look forward to more of the same.

Take care,
