Steven Segal and Celebrity Boxing
Hey guys I heard today on the radio that Fox is planning another episode of celebrity boxing. I believe it will be number 3 now. Anyhow, the guy on the radio said that Fox was planning a match between Steven Segal and Mickey Rourke. Anyone hear about this? I'm really interested in this as ridiculous as it sounds.

I hope for Steven Segal's sake this is not true. First of all, Mickey Rourke is a boxer. Secondly, this a boxing match! Everything is stacked in his favor.

I couldn't imagine Seagal getting into something like that but it'll be interesting to see how he is as a boxer. I think it'll end up looking like a street fight before it's over with though.
Besides, I thought Seagal was supposed to be hiding from the German mafia or something ?

The only reason that I said that is the last thing I ever heard anything about Seagal was that he was hiding in Tibet from some mafia. I said German because I thought I read somewhere that Half Past Dead was filmed in Germany.

Well. Wouldnt boxing for Segal be kinda like tying his hands behind his back? His MA training is pretty sueless when you throw boxing rules into it. Personally, I doubt that this match would ever happen, but htats what they were blabing on tha radio yesterday.

Seagal: Fat, tall, talented in aikido
Rourke: Small, not talented in boxing.
If this happens, I think cardio's gonna take it.

Well, I don't think he would be completely helpless. He has very good atemi, and he trained with Fumio Demura Shihan.
