Re: What is this?!
With the internet age comes information overload for the gullible, uneducated, juvenile, fringey folk...money, money: "if it's in grammatical correct written form it must be true"; etc..etc...
I think I'll take the dog for a walk.

Re: What is this?! (Wikipedia article based Daito Ryu book)
There is one by the same company for Aikido also. These are nothing more than compilations of information "mined" automatically from every public domain outlet available, and assembled offshore. The info is disjointed, often redundant, rhetorical and edited by people who have no clue as to the subject. The best description is what you'd get if you Googled "Aikido", and then just compressed and printed out all the hits. The best thing to do to make them go away is for nobody to buy them, which is much easier in view of the pricing.

You don't have to buy to submit a review....
It was good of you to point out the source of this overpriced stack of print-outs!

Are the posts on aikiweb public domain? Or, is it property of Jun?

Dicey subject, particularly in the international sense. Not only does the publishing company have the insulation of being offshore, they freely admit the nature of the content, and do not try to take credit for any of the info themselves.

Re: What is this?! (Wikipedia article based Daito Ryu book)
Further info: (The following is an excerpt from the publisher's response when I queried them last year about the validity of the Aikido book)
"The mentioned text was published under the so called "GNU license" at Wikipedia. This was the free decision of the authors.
Any licensee - also a publishing house - who adheres to the terms and conditions is given permission to modify the work, as well as to copy and redistribute the work or any derivative version, also for commercial reasons.
According to the GNU license it is not required to inform the author or to obtain the authorīs approval.
If the licensee wants to mention some of the authors the licensee has to take exactly the names given by the authors at Wikipedia: this might be the real name, a pseudonym, nonsense or whatever."
