Searching for a Dojo in Northern CA...

I know this may come accrose as an odd place to put this but I was not sure where it would go.
Anyway, I was wording if anyone knew of an Aikido Dojo's near Hubolt University? I am going to be going ther in the Fall and was thinking of cheeking out some of the dojo's up there.

Best wishes ,

Re: Surching for a Dojo in Northern CA...

Try http://www.aikiweb.com/search/ and use Arcata, CA for your search criteria. Visit them all and see which you prefer.

Hmmm.... the search apparently does not distinguish between Arcata and Arcadia!
AFA I know, Northcoast in Arcata still exists.
The others I know of are further away - up in Crescent City or down in McKinleyville/Laytonville area.

Tom Read Sensei, student of Hikitsuchi Sensei and an Aikido genius in my opinion, has a dojo in Arcada.

Turns out that the cities of Glendale and Riverside also exist in Humboldt County and the folks who submitted their dojo in those respective cities chose the ones in Humboldt County and not the ones in their actual counties. I've fixed the errant dojo entries; they should now be showing in their actual locations...

Jun, while we are cleaning up bugs: a search for my local area dojos, looking at listings near Ukiah CA, relocates Fair Oaks to somewhere northwest of here rather than out towards Sacto where it belongs (and is mapped).

Thanks for that information. I have fixed its dojo entry.

I am planning on updating the way in which the AikiWeb Dojo Search Engine stores its information as well as updating its submission form(s) when I get the chance -- hopefully, sometime soon!
