August 24th - 26th Aikibojitsu w/ Tom Read Sensei

Aikibojitsu is an archetypal form of the staff, a unique and beautiful martial system. Aikibojitsu’s founder, Sensei John Thomas Read, has studied and taught Aikido for over 40 years, and has been chief instructor of Northcoast Aikido in Arcata, California since 1977.

Author of the book Aikido, Aikibojitsu and the Structure of Natural Law, Read sensei has produced numerous instructional videos covering the theoretical and practical foundations of Aiki-bojitsu as a martial system.

The fall training seminar will be held this year at Big Lagoon Campground, two miles north of Patricks Point State Park, on the Northern California coast. We will camp right on the shore of Big Lagoon, and training will take place on the three-mile long sandspit that divides the lagoon from the ocean. There will be instruction in staff work for all levels of ability, and everyone is welcome! In addition to training, there will be time for exploration of this beautiful location, including hiking, swimming, and kayaking.

Where: Big Lagoon Campground, 40 minutes north of Eureka (2miles north of Patricks Point State Park)

When: August 24, 25, 26

Who: Everyone welcome! All levels of experience may attend.

Fee: $185.00 per participant.
