Dojos in Beijing, China?

I will (hopefully) be going to Beijing in February 2010 for an extended stay. The dojo search feature here at Aikiweb (thanks Jun!) lists several aikido dojos there. Does anyone have any experience with the dojos or teachers listed below? Any information, here or via PM, is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Dojos in Beijing, China?

Hi Thomas,

I've trained for around four months at Seidojuku and have enjoyed the experience a great deal. Classes are taught in both English and Chinese (with English being a bit more heavily used). We have a good mixture of both local and expat students, ranging from beginners to shodan.

I don't know where you'll be staying in Beijing, but the location is in Beijing's main business district, and is a short walk from a metro station.

Seidojuku's website has much more information, and I'm happy to answer any questions you have, either about the dojo or living in Beijing.

Best,

Kevin
