Demonstration Budo vs. Training Budo vs Doing Budo

We talk about training and demonstrations as something different from actually doing aikido? Are they though? How are they related and what makes them different or similar? That's the subject of this blog post. http://budobum.blogspot.com/2016/04/...g-budo-vs.html

What do you think? Are they very different? Why?

OMG, Peter. I don't have kids or grandkids, but that little phrase will apparently outlive me as long as people are training in budo... :-)
Even without that unexpected line, a nice essay putting demos into perspective.

Janet, it's such a great line it deserves to be used and credited!
And thanks!
