Wendy Whited 6th Dan at Oberlin Aikido Club 1.25-1.27.13

Posted 2013-01-11 07:54:46 by Andrzej Siwkiewicz

Oberlin College Aikido Club and Cleveland Aikikai are very pleased to announce a weekend seminar with Wendy Whited Sensei, 6th Dan of Inaka Dojo in Beecher, IL, Friday, January 25 - Sunday, January 27 2013.

Whited Sensei has extensively studied Saotome Shihan's Aikido, with its strong emphasis on both martial realism and the nurturing of inner peace. In 1999 Saotome Shihan awarded Whited Sensei her 6th degree black belt in recognition of the skill level achieved in her thirty-eight years of training. Her supplementary studies in Iaido, Judo, and Shorei Ryu Karate give her a well-rounded appreciation of the martial arts.

Classes will be held Friday evening from 7-9 PM, Saturday morning 10-Noon & 3-5 PM and Sunday from 10 AM - 1 PM. All classes held at Hales Gym at Oberlin College at 180 West Lorain St. Oberlin, OH 44074.

Fees are $110 for the seminar, $35 per class.
For more information email aikido@oberlin.edu or clevelandaikikai@yahoo.com, or call: 440.725.9494

See you on the mat,

Andrzej Siwkiewicz,
Oberlin Aikido Club Head Instructor
