Hello, pleased to meet you all....

I am new to all this, have only trained twice, but have bought a Gi and am getting a bit addicted. It is very interesting reading all of your posts, and I can see that it wil take me sometime to understand Aikido properly, but hopefully it will be a fun journey.

I am 37, so have come late to Aikido, but hope that this will not hinder my study.

Re: Hello, pleased to meet you all....

You are such a beginner ! It's my fifth time on the mat now (not counting my second session, I hurt so much, I thought it a good idea to just watch in case I needed an ambulance), and Im 37 in almost 2 weeks! I hope you have a supportive dojo and keep going even after the pain...I thought I would never get used to seiza, but it's getting better, and tonight was the first night I left the dojo not completely exhausted, Im so proud...now, time for bed

Anyway, welcome!
