Hello all

Hello,
Im frm Malaysia. Its only my 4th month in Aikido and i enjoy every bit of it. Im a student of Aikido Yoshinkan Shudokan Malaysia, and my primary teacher is Ramlan Ahmed Sensei, whom is a very nice sensei with a great charachter on and off the mat.
I participated in our International Gasshuku on Sept, and the experience is priceless. I had the chances to train with other aikidokas frm other schools and 'styles' and we got along pretty well under the aiki spirit. Joe Thambu Sensei of Shudokan Australia is keeping us intact in one line.
I wish i found Aikido earlier in my life when i was without worries and heavy responsibilities, but i guess in Aikido, u r never too late to try as ive seen some good examples of people started Aikido on their 40s and r still going strong.
Before Aikido, ive studied Silat Cekak for some years, and its amazing that i found a similarity in both Silat Cekak and Yoshinkan Aikido. Maybe these kind of martial arts suit me best since im not the type of person who can really kick n punch n fly like Jet Li!
Ok, look forward to meeting nice aikidokas frm around the globe. Any tips, helps or advises r much appreciated.

Thanks.

Nabil

Re: Hello all

Hey Nabil!

I got catch you again now after AGM this afternoon, i'm that Aikido Professor. It's actually renamed by Ramlan Sensei, and he says that i know very much thing about Aikikai Aikido. Wei Kong Sensei discovered my real indenitidy at Cari Chinese Forum, i don't use my real name at Cari chinese side.

I was originally want to suggest sell Aikido books to promote Aikido Shudokan or sponsor to those will go to Sydney for Robert Mustard Sensei's seminar, but that is still a big problem because such as marketing price of Total Aikido is RM100+ for one book. Therefore, i being quiet at that while or Ramlan Sensei will consider that mine is useless suggestion.

OSU brother of !
