It looks like New York Aikikai has set up a medical fund for Sugano sensei who earlier this year underwent surgery to amputate a foot due to complications from diabetes. The page, in part, states, "While Sugano Sensei's insurance covers some of the costs incurred, it does not provide for the high quality physical rehabilitation and sophisticated prosthetic equipment he will need in order to resume his teaching and travel schedule." I hope the medical fund is successful in helping out Sugano sensei's recovery.
YEA!!Way to go!I think it's totally positive that people are doing this for Sugano Sensei. He has still got a lot of skill to pass on!!If we take care of our Shihan and Sensei they will undoubtly take care of us
