I don't quite get this statement:

"We actually spend more time being thrown or tapping-out than we do anything else"

Doesn't it take exactly the same amount of time to pin someone as it does to be pinned? Maybe a second more to get up out of a throw...

I have actually spent much Less time as uke due to various injury which did not prevent my ability to perform technique.

I tend to be uke more than tori, so I spend a lot of time in the air or on the mat.
