Missouri Botanical Gardens Japanese Festival, 9/1-3, 2012

The Annual Missouri Botanical Gardens Japanese Festival -- three days of Japanese cultural and martial arts demonstrations and activities held in one of the world's finest botanical gardens -- will be held on Labor Day Weekend, from September 1st through 3rd, 2012.

Demonstrations of Japanese traditions -- cultural and martial, koryu bugei and gendai budo -- will be held each of the three days. Gendai martial traditions presented include kendo, judo, and karate.

Koryu traditions presented last year's arts included Shinto Muso-ryu (and allied arts), Tenshinsho-den Katori Shinto-ryu, Yagyu Shinkage-ryu, Takeuchi-ryu, and Toda-ha Buko-ryu.

For further schedule and ticket information, go to:

Hope to see you there!
