Warning: Learning to Flip Grown Men Can be Good For Your Health

Posted 2013-08-20 15:43:08 by Jun Akiyama
News URL: http://shetroit.com/featured/warning...r-your-health/

AikiWeb member Keith Larman just posted this article on Facebook entitled "Warning: Learning to Flip Grown Men Can be Good For Your Health" which features Dessa Corma of Detroit who tried aikido for the first time earlier this month.

From the article, "As a little person, born without thigh bones or knees, it's nearly impossible to not be conscious of my body everyday. This world was not built for my 3'6″ stature, so I am constantly aware of my size and people's reaction to it."

An Inspiring Post

This blog post is something most of us could probably learn a thing or two from.
