Good Guy With a Gun

" Following Sheriff Joe Lombardo’s October 9 announcement that Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos actually discovered Stephen Paddock six minutes before the attack began, it is only natural to wonder if Campos could have stopped the attack–had he been armed."

Re: Good Guy With a Gun

Interesting subject, the UN did a study published in 2015 concerning privately owned guns across the nations, it reveals some interesting numbers. I regard the UN as a credible source.. sources are important and the reason I almost never "like" anything on social media, I may not be aware which people and organisations I randomly support by doing so, modern terms like "click-bait" comes to my mind when I read the OPīs linked article.

The UN study in PDF format here:
https://www.unodc.org/documents/fire...rearms_WEB.pdf

You can find a short article by The Guardian titled; "Gun homicides and gun ownership listed by country",
based on the data provided by above study here:

Re: Good Guy With a Gun

It would be good to learn all of the real facts regarding the shooting in Las Vegas before it could rationally be theorized whether a "good guy" with a gun would have been able to have an impact on stopping the event....too many reports of multiple shooters coming from witnesses to ignore.

Re: Good Guy With a Gun

Wouldn't Stephen Paddock be classified as a "good guy" up to a day before the massacre?

Re: Good Guy With a Gun

I have always wondered, which is the biggest disaster - to be killed or become a killer?

Oh, may peace and love one day prevail on this poor earth!

All the best
