Buying from Tozando

Hi all,

I have just ordered a gi from Tozando but it gave no indication as to how long the shipping would take. Anybody have an idea ? How long did you have to wait ?

Re: Buying from Tozando

Some folks at my dojo are thinking of ordering a bunch of Tozando weapons. Any reviews of their jos & bokkens?

Re: Buying from Tozando

Jo and Bokken from Tozando are quite good. Very strong. However, Iwama style bokken is a little bit big and heavy for ladies. And it's a little bit bulky for whom want bokken that look like a real sword. Tozando send goods through EMS and mostly it'll take less than one week. I think Tozando will accept bulk order but you should ask for the UK custom first.

I like tozando very much....never purchased weapons from them though...I bought my first Hakama from them many years ago and still wear it every time I practice...good quality...good customer service...cannot comment on the shipping time though as I'm at an APO mailing address which only adds time to the shipping....

Re: Buying from Tozando

We ordered about three weeks ago, but the shipping date was the tenth of February, and we haven't had confirmation of it yet. I am waiting for my first hakama, and I'm finding it hard to patient.

Hi

Never seems to take very long. A few weeks max...be aware that you may get clobbered for import tax so may have to pay more than you think for your orders.

Re: Buying from Tozando

I received an email from them today with a ship date off the 23. I dont know if that is when I should get the goods or when they are going to ship it from Japan. I presume it is the latter.

I have also ordered another gi from J Milom as a spare and to use until I get the one from Tozando.

Re: Buying from Tozando

Just to bring this thread to a close. I received the gi today, nine days after ordering it. I did not have to pay any import duties.

Very happy with my purchase and will buy from them again.
