Question Anyone seen this site?

Added a whole load of new skins and a new default skin (which I kinda like). Dont think it ranks too well in search engines at the moment and allthough a good number of registered users, wonder if many people know about this site as not much activity on it..

Would welcome your opinion of the site as a resource for Yoshinkan Aikido and a meeting point for Aikidoka as either it sucks or your average Aikidoka is too shy to post anything :-)

Anyway... Would appreciate any comments.....

Many thanks Alexis, I really appreciate your comments. The site has quite a few video's, but only open to members (ie completion of a simple registration process). I guess the question then is should I make more available to guests??

The challenge is however, getting people to post, Im starting to get of the opinion that Aikidoka's play their cards close to their chest and therefore dont like to ask questions or debate subjects. I really think that the site is a great oportunity for all sorts of information and debate but just doesnt seem to happen like other forums I attend.

Here I am playing my cards in plain view........how very un-aikidoka-like

Re: Anyone seen this site?

Oh i see....

Well i'm no expert, i'm basically new at webpage design but i would suggest more videos for guests.
If you look at the poll on you site, the majority of people go looking for videos. If you get more hits, that means more people visiting. Some of those visitors will stick around and post.

More visitor = more potential posts

Are aikidoka secretive card players? Maybe it beacause most of us, like you, do our talking on the mats .

I have only 1 tiny video on our site, but hope to get more soon. We're a small but growing dojo. We do have pictures though.

Keep up the page, its nice.
