Clyde Takeguchi sensei of Capital Aikikai in Washington DC has been promoted to 7th dan by Aikikai Hombu dojo. He was presented his 7th dan certificate by Yoshimitsu Yamada sensei of New York Aikikai at the recent Capital Aikikai 30th anniversary celebration. My congratulations for his promotion and appreciation for all of his years of training and teaching go to Takeguchi sensei.

Let me be the second here to congratulate Takeguchi Sensei on his promotion.

His personal skill and pleasant teaching demeanour left a very good first impression of the Aikikai on this Aikidoka a few years ago. I always visit his dojo whenever I am in the Maryland area, always a pleasure.

Congratulations from Shodokan Trinidad!
