When breaking wind or "extending ki" during a breakfall, it's also helpful to let out some kind of kiai to help mask the sound.

the movie 'revenge of the nerds II' has a delightful sequence wherein
the character 'booger' meets his (disgusting) 'master'. a good rental.

Probably not the best way to go. I would think that seppuku reeks at least as much as a subtle wind. After all you are slicing the origin of the farts wide open......
