Hello and Happy New Year

Just wanted to introduce myself and say "Hi".

I don't actually take Aikido, it is offered where I do take Kenpo Jujitsu. Our lock-flows and self-defense techniques are from Icho Ryu Aikijustu of Bernie Lau sensei/Manuel Taningco.

I've had a long time fascination with Aikido, but have either never had the time, i.e. classes I looked at ran too late.

My previous martial arts experience include Shotokan out of York, PA (Brooks Karate - 1978-1984) and some Tang Soo Do while at various Penn State campuses (1991-1996).

Regards,
Mike

Re: Hello and Happy New Year

Welcome, Mike. Glad to hear that your ryu has some influence from Bernie Lau. Good stuff, that.
