aiki.com

Hi,

I want to order the new John Stevens dvd at aiki.com but they are asking 30 bucks for shipping and handling to Japan! I also could not find any contact info to ask them about it. I have checked budovideos.com and amazon but they are not carrying it yet. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Charles

Re: aiki.com

$30 does seem a little steep for overseas shipping of one DVD. Perhaps you should have it sent to a friend or family member's location that is domestic and ask them to take it to the post office and re-ship it to you in Japan.

Unhappy Re: aiki.com

Hi

I've just bought the Misogi DVD (it arrived from the states yesterday), and although interesting, the DVD is actually only 55 minutes in length, not the advertised 90 minutes. At present I am at a loss as what to do. Like yourself I was reluctant to pay the shipping surcharge, and am now upset that I think I have been slightly robbed.

Feck.

Re: aiki.com

$30 USD is very steep when you consider the shipping rate to Japan from USA is $5 small Global Priority (flat rate) envelope. Airmail is $4.40 figuring 5 ounces weight according to the USPS web site. It seems like the high cost is to discourage overseas purchases. The CD itself only costs $40.

Find out what the cost within the US is and see if a friend will forward it to you. You might save some money.

It is not practice that makes perfect, it is correct practice that makes perfect.

Re: aiki.com

From their web site, they show this contact info:

1420 No.Claremont Blvd, Suite#204C-D • Claremont, California 91711
Phone: (909) 624-7770
Email: aikido@aiki.com

Not sure if that helps any.

Re: aiki.com

Thanks everyone. I imagine that it will show up on budovideos soon, most of the atm videos are there. Darren, too bad about the length. How was the 55 minutes?

I will email them thanks to Mark and ask about the 30 bucks.
