It may be sweet but she can obviously throw very hard....he's had to strap his hair on to stop it sliding off when he lands!

(sorry....!)

"Nobody believed the claims of the youngster to be the reincarnation of O'Sensei until one of the adults, tiring of the debate, decided to drag the child from the mat, grabbed the kid's wrist and....."

A difficult problem is easily solved by asking yourself the question, "Just how would the Lone Ranger handle this?"

Re: How sweet is this?

I've seen at least one teddy bear (under two feet high) with complete hakama -- pleats, himo, koshiita, and all...

Re: How sweet is this?

As to the teddy bears - I've made one for for my friend. That was small, not higher than 20 cm, the dogi was right but the hakama was without koshiita. Too small even for my fingers. ;D

Re: How sweet is this?

Can't help but notice her posture:-

1) Fingers are open and exudes strong Ki flow.
2) Back foot firmly planted on mats, strong kamae.
3) Body posture looks strong and confidence; not intimidated by burly man with thick specs and headband.

To summise; She has potential to excel in aikido. Just my observation based solely on the pix above.

Boon.

No, it is not me. It is, however, one of my students named Gus McBride. The little one is ours as well I believe. although I can't place where it was taken.
