Lightbulb Training in Düsseldorf, germany?

I just gotconfirmed that I will have my internship in Industrial Design in Germany - more exactly in Düsseldorf. I hope that I will be able to take up my aikido training again during my 8 months stay.

Does anyone happen to know if there are any aikido clubs in Düsseldorf - preferably something Iwama Ryu-like.

Would become very happy for any tips. Thanks in advance!

I don't know whether he has any Iwama background, but Asai-shihan, the highest-ranking Aikikai teacher in Germany, teaches in Dusseldorf. Here's a link:

I've attended a few practice sessions led by a senior student of Asai-shihan and I liked it. I think you're lucky to have an 8th-dan in town .

Check out Aikido Dojo of Dusseldorf with Frank Ostoff Sensei too.

Ostoff Sensei was uchi deschi with Tissier Sensei and is a senior student of Endo Sensei.

He and Jan Nevelius Sensei from Stockholm's Vanadis Aikido Klubb came to visit us at Puget Sound Aikikai in Seattle this fall. They taught us some awesome ukemi stuff, sort of like Donovan Waite's soft style.

I can't sy enough good things about both of them.
